Here’s where you can help decide a better future for us all.
What You’ll Be Doing
This is an exciting opportunity to join the London ADASS team as we build our staff team and develop the strategic ambitions and priorities for London ADASS. Camden Council is the host organisation for London ADASS (Association of the Directors of Adult Social Services). London ADASS is a professional association that brings together the directors of adult social care in London to collaborate, share good practice and promote high standards in social care.
The role of the programme manager is to advise and collaborate with directors of adult social care, other senior leaders, Council officers across the London region and partners to implement all aspects of the London ADASS programme and priorities and ensure the projects deliver the programme outcomes. You will have effective partnership working arrangements with all key stakeholders and foster a spirit and culture of partnership in adult social care across London. You will identify issues that require cross-borough attention and London level work in your portfolio.
You will lead a portfolio of projects with a focus on commissioning, market management including work around learning disabilities and autism, data and performance management and digital innovation in adult social care. You will also lead a London wide programme of activities relating to equalities, diversity and inclusion, including embedding coproduction more fully into all the work of the branch.
You will represent London ADASS at regional and national meetings, support and lead change programmes, analyse data, and be a flexible and collaborative member of the team.
All About You
You will be a strategic thinker committed to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion. You will have expert knowledge of the adult social care system including commissioning, market management and performance. You will have an excellent knowledge of project management methodologies.
