At Crownfield Junior, we believe in working as a team for the children that we are responsible for and care for. We believe that our children are at the centre of all we do, encouraging and supporting them to be the best that they can be. We treat the children as individuals and understand that their needs are unique to them.
We are extremely proud of our school and the broad curriculum we offer. We are a four-form entry and partners with the Mawney School through the Learning and Achieving Federation, through which we exchange good practice and resources to continue our journeys forward.
Our Ofsted Report in July 2023 stated:
‘Pupils at this school are kind, polite and hard-working. In lessons they listen to their teachers and to each other. Pupils are cooperative and respectful. They know that unkind language is not acceptable. Pupils feel very safe here. They like the opportunities that they have to talk about how they are feeling, and they know they can speak to different adults, including a school counsellor, if they have any worries.’
‘Staff feel well supported by the leaders and report that they prioritise their wellbeing’.
We are looking for someone new, someone like-minded, to join our well-motivated, happy team as a classteacher. We would like to appoint an enthusiastic, organised person who:
- Can demonstrate excellent classroom teaching and learning with high expectations of pupil progress and attainment
- Is able to challenge, motivate and support pupils of all abilities and needs
- Has a secure knowledge and understanding of assessment in Literacy and Maths
- Is passionate about the teaching and learning of the whole child and is flexible to new ideas
- Works well as part of a team
- Is pro-active and can demonstrate a willingness to participate fully in all aspects of school life
We are lucky to be set in beautiful grounds. Our children are great to work with: polite, enthusiastic, hard working with a sense of fun! We have a very supportive staff who work together for the good of the children – they have a sense of humour too!
We can offer you a tour around our school. Please phone our reception on 01708 747070. You may also wish to look at our website for further information.
Please apply online.
