Actual starting salary £23,535 per annum
32.5 hours per week, term time only 8:30am – 4pm

 

Due to our rapidly expanding school, the Governors of Kelmscott School are seeking to appoint a highly enthusiastic and organised colleague to support teaching and learning within our school. The successful applicant will have a professional appearance, attitude and be able to oversee classes supporting the progress of our students. Duties will include supervision of a class at short notice and performing administrative tasks when required. 

 

The ideal candidate will:

  • Supervise whole classes in the absence of a teacher
  • Deliver high quality lessons across a range of subjects following the plans left by the class teacher
  • Keep students on task for the work they have been set and ensure it is completed
  • Maintain a purposeful learning environment in the classroom
  • Undertake administrative tasks as required, to ensure the smooth running of the school
