Enfield is home to a vibrant and increasingly diverse community, and we are committed to ensuring everyone thrives. Our Council Plan for 2023-26 focuses on investing in more and better homes for our residents. We're not just building new, sustainable homes to meet the growing demand; we're also dedicated to improving our existing housing, ensuring top-quality standards for our council tenants and leaseholders. With a broad housing portfolio, Enfield is at an exciting point in its journey, where making a positive difference in local communities is at the heart of our mission. This role offers a unique opportunity to significantly impact housing services, drive strategic improvements, and enhance the quality of life for Enfield’s residents.
The Divisional Head of Housing Management will lead a diverse portfolio of services, providing expert knowledge and leadership across our frontline housing services. The First Response Service is like a more traditional estate officer team, working alongside teams managing complex casework, anti-social behaviour, and community partnerships. The Divisional Head will also manage our non-residential assets and a large (100 FTEs) Estate Services team. This role demands expert knowledge of housing management services combined with strong leadership capable of addressing the needs of council tenants and leaseholders, maintaining high levels of performance, and raising satisfaction across Enfield’s 15,000 housing units, communal areas, environmental spaces, and non-housing assets.
