About the Role
To act as professional adviser for Havering Fostering panel regarding panel procedures and practices, the impact of any recommendations made by the panel, and all relevant current and proposed Government legislation and guidelines are followed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attending Fostering Panel, these are conducted Face-to-Face on a Wednesday.
- To ensure that the fostering panel undertakes reviews of practice and outcomes at least quarterly to ensure compliance with regulation and guidance.
- Provide advice to the Agency Decision Maker in relation to all Fostering matters prior to and after they have been presented to the fostering panel.
- To ensure that all fostering reports are compliant with fostering regulations, statutory guidance and National Minimum Standards.
- In consultation with the panel chairperson facilitate the appointment, termination and review of members of the central list for fostering panel.
