About Camden

Camden is changing on the inside to make life better for everyone. Our residents and communities are at the heart of everything we do. We’re home to the most important conversations happening today and we’re making radical social change a reality, so that nobody gets left behind.  Here’s where you can help decide a better future for us all.

How You’ll Be Involved

As our Senior Debt Adviser, you'll provide expert guidance and support to residents struggling with debt. You'll work closely with complex cases, crafting personalized solutions and financial plans to help them get back on track. When necessary, you'll represent clients in court, advocating for their rights and interests.

You'll share your expertise with other teams across the council, enhancing their understanding of debt management and financial inclusion. Your decisions will have a tangible impact, as you allocate emergency funds to those in crisis and support your team to work collaboratively and efficiently.

You'll prioritize building strong relationships with colleagues and ensuring that every client feels heard and supported. As part of our team, you'll be part of a dynamic environment that continually reflects on its approaches and proposes new ways to make a positive difference.

If you're passionate about making a real difference in the lives of Camden's most vulnerable residents, join our team as a Senior Debt Adviser.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and will require an Enhanced DBS.
