Building Surveyor

You will be working with operational teams across all departments to improve the safety of our homes, the role aims to enhance residential safety by collaborating with other departments.

Responsibilities include managing floorplan and wayfinding signage projects, conducting surveys, addressing queries, supporting FRA actions, updating program trackers, coordinating EWS1 reports, and managing building safety investigations.

As a surveyor, you will support the Senior Project Manager in ensuring the safety of our homes by performing various tasks within the Regulations team. You will add value and improve the safety of our homes. This role also involves financial oversight and document management, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and project delivery

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about building safety and making our homes safer. The ideal candidate will possess a keen interest in learning and working in the Building Safety team, understanding that this role will require hard work and dedication. The work will be challenging, but with solid coordination and time management skills, you will thrive in this dynamic environment.

We are looking for someone with existing qualifications e.g. HNC, HND, or a degree in surveying, construction, or similar fields. This role is also perfect for an existing surveyor or property inspector looking to broaden their knowledge and expertise in building safety. This position is also great for individuals with no formal qualifications but has lots of knowledge in building and construction, repairs or defect management, and proven experience in project management. Essential:
HNC or a Degree in Building Surveying or Construction with some experience
Extensive knowledge and experience in building and construction, repairs or defect management, excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
