PMO Lead for Journeys & Places
Fixed term opportunity expected to last until September 2026
The Journeys & Places programme is an exciting place to work delivering outcomes that will enable economic growth, improve health and contribute towards the climate change crisis. We already have a track record of successful delivery. However, we are seeking to both enhance our community engagement and accelerate our delivery. A look at our emerging Transport Strategy and Place Shaping Framework will provide you with a greater understanding of our future ambitions: https://letstalk.enfield.gov.uk/transport-placeshaping
To help us achieve this, we are looking for a PMO specialist to support us in taking our delivery to the next level.
You do not need to have Local Government experience or specific exposure to the type of projects that we deliver; we will support you with understanding the operating context. What we are looking for is an experienced and ambitious Programme Management professional who has experience in:
- Managing programmes with a wide portfolio of projects
- Developing effective procurement strategies
- Designing processes which ensures effective governance whilst enabling project delivery at pace
- Establishing and maintaining effective relationships both internally and externally
- Strong written communication skills and the ability to create effective project reporting dashboards
At any interview, candidates will be required to provide real-life examples to demonstrate that they have the skills and experience required for this role.
In return, you will be operating in an environment with supportive and diverse colleagues who are intent on delivering positive outcomes for the community. We offer a flexible environment, one that understands that in addition to the commitment to our professional lives, we all have other important areas of our lives to consider too. The role will be a blend of remote and in office working. We look forward to receiving your CV and covering letter which sets out why you are interested in this role and how your skills and experiences match the support we need.
Please focus on criteria 5-8 in the person specification and include details of your relevant qualifications in your supporting statement.
