This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to join the Property Department within the Resources Directorate of Enfield Council; a department with wide ranging responsibilities for a £1bn+ portfolio of assets, including commercial, industrial, retail, office, cultural and leisure, plus significant future development and regeneration opportunities.
The newly created post of Property Information Systems Manager will ensure accurate and timely availability of management reports and data for operational and strategic decision-making processes, including informing high value property investments, through the effective management of all Property Information Systems including the Asset Management System (AMS), Geographical Information System (GIS), Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Computer-Aided Design (CAD).
To succeed in this role, you will have demonstrable experience of the procurement, implementation and operational management of computerised management information systems.
You will need
- Extensive experience in management of Property Information Systems, including Asset Management Systems (AMS) and Geographical Information System (GIS), to a multi-disciplinary commercial property management business unit with commercial / trading activities
- Proven ability to manage a team of staff performing a diverse range of duties, including recruitment, allocation of responsibilities, and performance management, together with the ability to work in collaboration with all professional disciplines including senior managers
- Experience of high value public procurement of Property / Management Information Systems, and their project management to ensure implementation is on-budget and on-time
- High level of IT skills, specifically on Asset Management Systems (Concerto), Geographical Information System (GIS), Financial Management (SAP), and MS Office software (Word / Excel / Access)
- Ability to build effective working relationships with excellent communication, negotiating and influencing skills and the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders
- Ability to plan time and resources effectively and manage competing demands
