4X Application and Administration officers – Lettings, Housing Options Service
What we’re looking for
An empathetic and understanding approach to dealing with our customers and residents alike who are already on our housing waiting list and those who wish to join our housing register. Working with relevant stakeholders and partners to provide a seamless and effective service with efficient customer journey, along the way.
We need you to use your knowledge, skills, and expertise to provide our lettings customers with the best advice and support.
We need you to provide first-class service to our residents in the way that suits them – mainly via email and phone, including applicants who attend the Residents’ Hub. Our core working hours are from 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday.
Housing in Tower Hamlets like many other boroughs is major concern and priority for residents, naturally, we face high demand for our services. You need to be able to provide guidance whilst measure residents expectations. We are therefore looking to recruit 4 officers to join the admin team on a permanent basis.
If you are passionate about housing and have a desire to provide excellent customer service, then you will thrive in this role that bring a myriad of challenges every day.
About the role
The Housing Options Lettings Service are looking to recruit 4x Application and Administration officers. You will be the first point of contact for our residents and applicants, managing a portfolio of agreed cases to complete as well as deal with phone and email enquiries for the lettings service.
A positive, proactive, and can-do attitude with a solution focused outlook is key to succeeding in this role. You need to have the enthusiasm and motivation to provide outstanding support for relevant parties who come through to us. You also need to be able to work as a team and independently to support the service with great time-management. If you have not worked in this sector but have transferable skills, we would love to hear from you, as training will be provided for the successful candidate.
