About the role:
This is an exciting time for Waltham Forest in terms of the modernisation and transformation of our workforce culture. The role will focus on the delivery of the Inclusion Action Plan as part of the Culture and Workforce Transformation programme.
The post holder will use a range of sources and analytical techniques to produce high-quality analysis and reporting, including recommendations that support the delivery of the Inclusion Action Plan.
Responsibilities will include managing the delivery of programmes and co-ordination of multiple interrelated projects and workstreams that deliver expected outcomes and benefits to the Council and its residents.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the ongoing development and embedding of the Council's focus on Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (Inclusion Action Plan) as part of the Council's corporate plan (Mission Waltham Forest)
- Prepare and analyse data to produce intelligence and insights about the workforce.
- To plan, direct, and coordinate activities to manage and implement interrelated projects from proposal or initiation to final operational stage.
- To build strong working relationships with key stakeholders across the Council.
- Develop robust governance frameworks for the constituent projects and programmes including project plans, risk/issue logs, and reports on programme activity for stakeholders including programme boards, executive directors, management board, scrutiny committee, cabinet.
- Monitor and review programme costs, operational budgets, staffing requirements and programme resources (on behalf of the Senior Responsible Owners).
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent standard
- Recognised programme or project management accreditation - e.g. Agile, Prince2, MSP etc
