Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Hours: 32.5 hours per week (8.30am - 4.00pm) /39 weeks per year

Actual Salary: Grade 4 Point 10-15 £29,139 - £31,440 (£22,602 - £24,385 pro rata)

Contract: Permanent

Start Date: ASAP in September 2024

Harold Wood Primary School are seeking a flexible and dedicated HLTA, preferably KS2, to join us. We are looking for candidates with the imagination, energy and commitment to make a positive difference to our school.

In this role you will:

.   Lead the learning for classes or groups of children following teacher’s planning and resourcing

.   Ensure pupil’s needs are catered for in lessons

.   Provide detailed verbal and written feedback on lesson content, pupil responses to learning activities and pupil behaviour, to teachers and pupils

.   Promote and support the inclusion of all pupils, including those with specific needs.
