The Post
 
We currently have two fantastic opportunities to join the corporate Change and Improvement team as Project Managers. The post-holder will lead on a wide range of high-profile projects across the Council, supporting the Council to deliver its transformative change agenda and its key Borough Plan priorities.
 
The post-holder will work with a diverse range of stakeholders, including senior managers and external partners, to design quality services that deliver great outcomes for Brent residents.
 
The post-holder will be responsible for strategically planning, managing and delivering key projects to deliver against the Council's key priorities. 
 
The Person
 
The successful candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of the key policy issues facing local government, particularly in relation to service redesign, value for money and public involvement. 
 
An extensive knowledge of methods and techniques to manage and influence behavioural and cultural change is also essential within this role. 
 
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of current and emergent project management methodologies and standards, and have demonstrable experience of leading large-scale change and improvement projects.
 
The ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders is also essential within this role.
