How You’ll Be Involved
We are looking for a highly motivated Climate Project Officer to join our team and play a key role in delivering Camden's Climate Action Plan. As a Climate Project Officer, you will project manage environmental sustainability projects ensuring successful delivery through cross working within the Council, with partners and the community.

You will be responsible for supporting the operational management of the Somers Town Energy heat network, as well as analysing and presenting technical information to different audiences. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, including low carbon energy initiatives, community engagement, and business-focused initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to join Camden at a pivotal point in our climate journey, as we set the course for the next five years of climate action in the borough.

All About You
As a Climate Project Officer, you will bring a strong background in environmental sustainability, in particular from a technical perspective, with a good understanding of the opportunities for greenhouse gas emission reduction including through low carbon heating technology. You will have a proven track record of managing and delivering projects with environmental benefits, as well as experience working in multi-agency partnerships and with local communities. Your excellent data analysis and communication skills will enable you to manipulate and present technical information to a wide range of audiences, from non-technical stakeholders to technical experts. You will also have experience in project and budget management, and hold a relevant degree or professional qualification.
