Communities, Governance & Change Directorate:

A new Communities, Governance & Change Directorate has been established to strengthen capacity and resource at the centre of the Council in order deliver on our Lambeth 2030 ambitions, including:​

  • Coordinating a more joined up offer to the community around engagement, funding, access to help and support that puts our communities, their experiences and outcomes to the forefront of our approach
  • Injecting challenge into the system, ensuring robust governance and delivering change 

Working alongside a talented, professional group of staff that are dedicated, ambitious and focused, we are looking to recruit to a number of key roles to help us deliver our ambitions:

Programme Manager, Tackling Racism and Discrimination x2 posts

PO7: Starting £51,897 pa rising in annual increments to £61,347 pa incl LW

Supporting the council-wide work to deliver our commitment to become a borough of Equity and Justice, you will be responsible for project managing a number of workstreams that support the delivery and implementation of this exciting and challenging ambition.  You will also provide specialist and subject matter expertise, direction and support on tackling racism and discrimination to ensure the council, colleagues, stakeholders, and partners work together to transform practice and outcomes across the borough.
