Correspondence & Appeals Officer
£32,925 - £33,957 per annum

One x Full time (36 hours a weeks) Correspondence and Appeals officer roles – Permanent contract -  Hybrid working with one to two days in the office, dependent on service delivery - Equipment will be provided.

About the Job

We are looking to appoint Correspondence and Appeals Officers who will work with the current back office team and be responsible for ensuring Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) enquiries and representations at all stages through the PCN process are responded to within statutory time-frames and in accordance with the legislation, policies and procedures. The successful candidate will also be required to prepare case summaries and evidence packs to the parking tribunal service for adjudication hearings.

About You

Previous experience of working within the Parking industry and dealing with Parking related correspondence and/or complaints is highly desirable, however training will be provided. The successful candidate will be required to investigate and respond appropriately to penalty charge notice representations, appeals and enquiries in line with legislation and council policies. In addition to this the officer will be required to have excellent IT and administration skills as they will be required to manage their own caseload as well as supporting other team members at times. Attention to detail are paramount, together with a genuine commitment to, and experience of, first class customer service.
