Fixed Term ending March 2025
The Early Years and Childcare Improvement Team (EYCIT) are looking to appoint a passionate individual with experience of developing practice within a wraparound childcare setting. The successful candidate will work alongside EYCIT colleagues in supporting all early years settings within the borough to deliver high-quality provision; ensuring all children can achieve their full potential.
A Wraparound Development Officer provides advice, training, challenge and support to wraparound childcare providers within the borough. We are looking for an individual who understands the demands and challenges our wraparound childcare providers face and will use this knowledge to adapt their approach to support providers effectively.
The developing of high-quality provision and safeguarding practices are a fundamental part of the Wraparound Development Officer role. We are therefore looking to appoint an individual with an in-depth understanding of child development, effective practice and a secure understanding of relevant statutory frameworks.
If you are enthusiastic about developing effective practice and provision to improve outcomes for all children, we would like to hear from you.
