Hours: 6.25 hours per week (12.00pm - 1.15pm) x 38 weeks per year

Grade: Scale 2 Point 3-4

Salary: £3,818 - £3,875 p.a. actual salary for above hours based on full time equivalent of £26,238 p.a.

Contract: Fixed term contract until July 2025

Start Date:  September 2024

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic 1:1 midday assistant to join our successful school to either work with a named Reception or KS1 child during the lunch break.

The successful candidate will be:

  • Able to develop positive relationships with pupils and use a variety of strategies to keep pupils engaged;
  • Proactive, flexible, well-organised and willing to work collaboratively with other colleagues;
  • Passionate about supporting a pupil with SEND, contributing to ensuring is a safe and enjoyable experience for them;
  • Warm and caring, developing positive relationships with pupils;
  • Proactive in promoting social skills and collaboration amoungst children;
  • Flexible and willing to take on a range of roles and responsibilities;
  • Follow the schools' key policies and procedures.
