About Camden

Camden is changing on the inside to make life better for everyone. Our residents and communities are at the heart of everything we do. We’re home to the most important conversations happening today and we’re making radical social change a reality, so that nobody gets left behind.  Here’s where you can help decide a better future for us all. The twin impacts of the housing crisis and more recently the cost-of-living crisis is pushing more and more of our communities into financial distress and to debt and we are tackling this problem head on with our new Money Advice Service.

How You’ll Be Involved

As a senior leader, you'll shape the new debt advice function, designing support models and training staff to deliver effective money management and advice interventions. You'll lead a team of financial support co-ordinators, developing their skills and creating opportunities for growth.

You'll develop a coaching model for the entire Money Advice service, ensuring quality supervision and a culture of continuous learning. You'll work with partners and external experts to create a model that drives improvement and sets a new standard for frontline staff.

You'll also lead stakeholder engagement, creating a programme of regular "show and tells" that showcases staff case work to a wider audience. You'll ensure staff not only present their work but also reflect on what they've learned, driving change across the service and beyond.

With your expertise in early intervention and prevention, you'll work closely with data and design colleagues to develop proactive campaigns that maximize income and engagement for residents. You'll adopt a test-and-learn approach, ensuring successful campaigns that drive transformation.

As a policy leader, you'll work with benefits and welfare rights teams to understand and mitigate the impacts of welfare reform on Camden communities, with a focus on managed migration.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and will require an Enhanced DBS.
