About Camden

At Camden, we're working closely with our communities to build a better, fairer Camden for everyone, and to make sure that nobody gets left behind. We’ve experienced significant challenges in recent years including from the pandemic and cost of living crisis and the impacts on those who live, work and study in the borough. Throughout these times, we have seen the extraordinary community spirit of Camden. As we move forward, it’s crucial we all stay working together to create the best future for our residents. In this role, you will have the opportunity to join our Communications team and to deliver high quality communications to support our Integrated Early Years and Family Hubs Service.

What You’ll Be Doing / How You’ll Be Involved

This is an excellent opportunity to work with Camden’s Early Years and Family Hubs Service. The role is responsible for developing communications plans, materials and channels to support the service to reach all of the people and families who use these services, as well as wider audiences and stakeholders for Early Years and Family Hubs services in Camden.

The post holder will use a wide range of communications skills and channels to deliver well planned and evidence-based communications for the service which align to We Make Camden - our vision for the borough.

A key part of the role is to engage with service users to ensure that their views and opinions are incorporated in our communications work, as well as ensuring that Integrated Early Years and Family Hubs Service information is published in a way that best suits parents’ and other users’ needs, and aligns with our aspirations for increasing transparency and open data standards.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and will require an Enhanced DBS.
