About the role

The Housing Options Service are looking to recruit a Housing Options Assistant. This is an exciting role which includes assisting frontline homelessness officers to prevent and relieve homelessness. You will work directly with homeless people obtaining information, giving routine advice, requesting documentation and updating personal housing plans. 

Enthusiasm and strong motivation to work within the Housing Options Service, as well as a ‘can-do’ attitude are key. Having the right calibre of people with the right attitude is essential in providing homeless people with the services they require. If you have not worked in the sector but have transferable skills, we would love to hear from you, training will be provided for the successful candidate.
