Learning Support Assistant

Hours: 30 hours per week x 38 weeks per year (Term Time)

Grade: Grade 1/2 Spinal points 2-5

Salary: £18,056 - £18,878 actual salary pro rata (based on £25,854 - £27,030 full time equivalent p.a.)

Required: September 2024

At Crownfield Junior, we believe in working as a team for the children that we are responsible for and care for. We are looking for someone to join our team. We would like to appoint an enthusiastic, organised person who has experience and/or qualifications in supporting students (preferably KS2) whatever their needs, to enable them to fulfil their full potential within our school environment. A good standard of Literacy and Numeracy is essential. 

Our Ofsted Report in July 2023 stated:

We are lucky to be set in beautiful grounds. Our children are great to work with: polite, enthusiastic, hard working with a sense of fun!  We have a very stable staff who work together for the good of the children – they have a sense of humour too!  We are a four-form entry school.

The LSA would work under the direction of the Senior Management Team and the SENCo. At all times, the LSA will work within a Year Group and plan alongside them, reporting to the Head of Year on an agreed system of supervision and management.
