The role – Building Surveyor

 

As a Building Surveyor, you will work for our Property Maintenance Team diagnosing, tracking and managing all reactive related repairs and voids for our outer London stock. This role gives the successful candidate the opportunity to improve the lives of residents by using their technical expertise to correctly diagnose repairs, overseeing them until completion, whilst maintaining a high standard.

  • Responsible for diagnosing and managing reactive and complex repairs from start to finish.
  • Carrying out pre and post void inspections.
  • Reviewing contractors variations, quotes or requests to ensure they are in line with contract and provide value for money.

 

What you’ll need

 

We’re looking for someone who has:

 

  • Technical expertise in managing and taking ownership until resolution of reactive repairs and voids.
  • Proactive in identifying and addressing any repair or defect issue which may escalate if not addressed swiftly.
  • Team player who can work collaboratively to get the job done.
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills.
  • Flexible and willing to go the extra mile.
