EPPNCPL £37,600 - 41,713 (incl.  of LW £2,372) - Fixed term contract to 31.8.2025

We are looking to recruit three fulltime assistant psychologists who wish to develop their understanding of applied psychology in a range of educational contexts. Under the direct supervision of HCPC registered Educational Psychologists, and in close collaboration with other professionals, the post holders will:

- Support school staff and families to meet the needs of children with a range of special educational needs and disabilities, through observation, intervention and training.  
- Support with the development, delivery and evaluation of programmes for schools, parents and children and young people, including frequent contact with schools, professionals and families.
- Support with quality assurance and service development of the Educational Psychology Service, including design, collection and analysis of outcome measures.
- Research and review the evidence-base relating to practice for supporting children and young people with SEND.

This post will be particularly relevant to those seeking to gain knowledge, skills and experience in preparation for submitting an application for doctoral training courses in Educational Psychology.
We are keen to consider applications from enthusiastic and resourceful candidates. You should demonstrate a reflective and innovative approach alongside excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Minimum requirements: Degree in Psychology or conversion course which provides a graduate basis for chartered membership of the British Psychological Society, and experience of working with children and young people. Enhanced DBS check required.
