A great opportunity has risen for a Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship position with the Parking Service.

Job title: Business Administrator 

Salary: London Living Wage £13.15 per hour. 

Assignment duration: This is a 24 month fixed term temporary position.

Working with the Parking Service. You will train in supporting the Senior Performance & Contract Support Officer and service managers in a full range of operational and administrative tasks related to the business systems. You will be providing support, engaging with different parts of the service area, and interacting with internal and external customers. On successful completion of the End Point Assessment (EPA), candidates will gain a Level 3 Apprenticeship qualification in Business Administration. There are prospects for individuals to pursue a career within the service or another team in the council.

You will be treated like a permanent employee working Monday to Friday, receiving a salary and holidays.

About you

The successful candidate should hold a level 2 or equivalent qualification such as 5 GCSE’s to qualify to apply for this role grade A-C/4-9 in English Language and Maths is desired.  If you do not have grade 4 and above GCSE in Maths and English then you will be required to complete the level 2 function skills test in both or either subjects.   You will be required to participate in classes and workshops that take place on-site, at the training provider’s establishment, complete the prescribed tests, assignments, and engage in scheduled meetings with the trainer and your line manager. Candidates are required to gain knowledge, skills and experience throughout their apprenticeship. Learn about the industry they are in and specific best practice in that field. On the job training and ongoing support will be offered by the line manager and training provider assessor.
