£42,840 - £46,041 per annum
London Borough of Newham are embarking on the introduction of a new Newham Integrated Community Enforcement (NICE) approach. This will see greater collaboration between Council teams and community safety enforcement partners in order to make the borough a safer, cleaner & greener place for our residents, business and visitors.
At the heart of the model will be a new NICE Insight & Coordination Unit, within which the NICE Lead Project Officer role will sit. This position will work with the Director of Community Safety and the Head of Community Safety Enforcement on a range of supporting projects & change initiatives whilst also leading on day to day NICE/Unit related administration requirements.
Applicants for this role MJST have knowledge & understanding of community safety and associated partnerships as well as integrated enforcement models. Equally we are looking for candidates with proven experience of managing projects and leading on change requirements. Priority will be given to those with formal certifications in project and/or change management. Basic line management experience is also a mandatory requirement of this role.
