It’s also a borough of contrasts, and as a Council, we know that Tower Hamlets is on a vital journey of improvement. There are tough challenges we need to tackle, but with that comes a unique opportunity to make a real impact. We’re changing – rapidly. This is a place where people make things happen. Where everyone works together with zeal, passion and pride. As an employer, we can offer a generous annual leave package, competitive pension and flexible working.

In doing so you will ensure that staff develop and maintain the essential skills and knowledge to undertake their roles successfully. You will assess the training needs of staff, develop and commission training programmes and evaluate the effectiveness of the training provision.

A confident, experienced, and adaptable self-starter, able to work proactively and on your own initiative, you will relish the opportunity to contribute to service improvements. You will possess good knowledge in developing learning activities to meet specific quality standards and how to work with providers to commission and deliver appropriate training.
