We are looking to recruit a Team leader who will be responsible for our Mental Health Enablement Hub, based in Bush Hill Park Enfield.  You will be providing a service that is accessible, flexible and responsive to the mental health needs of the service users.
Enfield Council’s Mental Health Enablement Service works closely with people who have severe and enduring mental health support needs in order reduce hospital delay discharge and to improve their ability to live independently and participate in the community, as well as improve quality of life and well-being. 
Working mainly 1:1 in people’s homes and in the community, we provide short-term intensive support to achieve a range of agreed and personalised outcomes.  Our work includes resettlement and outreach work, and support to access opportunities in employment, education and leisure. 
This post is based within the Mental Health Enablement Hub, which offers advice, information, advocacy and support, and community links. You will be responsible for supervising the organisation and day to day running of the Mental Health Enablement Hub, monitor, review groupwork programmes and activities with the staff and users.
Duties will include:-
To further develop user participation in planning the Mental Health Enablement Hub
To be involved in the programming of activities as groupworker.
To seek and receive supervision for the purpose of personal professional development and the improvement of the service for its users.
Provide high quality and comprehensive support to the service user to empower them to plan, work towards and achieve their outcomes.
Work effectively individually and as part of a team, to achieve service outcomes and actively contribute to the development and smooth running of the service in accordance with local policies procedures and legislation.
Enable service users to maximise independent living, community participation, and healthy living in a personalised way.
You will work as part of a supportive team, induction, supervision and training will be available.
You will need to be a driver with a full UK driving licence, your own car is not required as a pool car is available.

Please note this is a part time position working 21.6 hrs per week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, the advertised salary is for full time work, therefore the salary for this part time role will be calculated on a pro-rata basis.
