At the heart of all successful procurement operations is data—the foundation of intelligent strategic procurement decision making. The insights derived from data are critical for shaping strategic thinking and ensuring that decisions are informed and effective. As our Procurement Data Manager, your ability to harness the power of data will be key to empowering our procurement function with the clarity and precision needed to excel.

We are seeking an analytical, proactive data enthusiast to join our procurement team as a Procurement Data Manager. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in data analysis and visualisation to transform complex data sets into clear, actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making. Your ability to present data in a compelling and understandable format will empower our senior leaders to grasp key principles and make informed choices.

The Person

We are looking for a detail-oriented, data-driven professional who thrives on interrogating data and uncovering meaningful patterns. You should be adept at using Power BI and other presentation tools to translate intricate data into clear, concise visuals that tell a compelling story. Your strong analytical skills, coupled with excellent communication abilities, will enable you to effectively convey insights to senior leadership.

In addition, you will manage a dedicated team, ensuring excellent customer service and fostering a collaborative work environment. You should have a strategic mindset, always seeking innovative solutions and opportunities to streamline processes. As a key member of the senior team, your input will be vital in shaping our procurement strategies. Knowledge of Oracle Cloud and the purchase-to-pay process, including contract and purchase order management, will be highly beneficial.

An inquisitive mind that constantly questions the status quo and evaluates whether processes make sense will be crucial. Your curiosity and analytical thinking will support your team in developing and honing their skills, driving continuous improvement within the department. If you are a proactive problem-solver with a passion for turning data into strategic value, we want to hear from you.
