We are looking for a Digital Content Manager to join our multi award winning Communications Service in London’s most exciting borough.

Our online audiences have never been more important. We have built our digital infrastructure and nurtured an online audience of well over 100,000 users to help tell our story and encourage two-way engagement so we can work with our residents to create a better borough.

The Digital Content Manager is a key role in our team to ensure that we retain our audiences, as well as increasing them as our borough becomes more digitally active.

You will oversee our Granicus newsletter system, Orlo social media system, and be heavily involved in our consultation platform called Let’s Talk Tower Hamlets.

Over the past few years, we have won national awards for campaigns, social media, ethics and crisis management.

The role is for a senior, high calibre public sector communications specialist with:

  • Significant experience in digital channel management and digital content creation.
  • Strong newsletter, social media and consultation experience.
  • Excellent eye for detail, design and writing skills.
  • Political nous.
  • Strong relationship management skills.
  • Experience working in a local authority or government organisation is preferable.
