The Governing Body at St. Michael’s Catholic Primary School is seeking to appoint an
Assistant Site Supervisor to join our good school. The successful candidate will need to
demonstrate a commitment to continually improving their practice. We serve a diverse
community in the Catholic Parish of St Michael’s, East Ham, in the Diocese of Brentwood.


We are seeking to appoint an Assistant Site Supervisor who is dedicated to the ethos and is
committed to working flexibly and effectively as part of a team, in a supportive environment,
and has high expectations in all areas of school life.


We are looking to appoint a professional, dedicated, hardworking and enthusiastic Assistant
Site Supervisor to join our team. This individual will be responsible for maintaining the
upkeep of our school site, cleaning, security, heating, as well as conducting regular checks
relating to health and safety and ensuring all records of these are accurately kept.

The person appointed will be responsible for:

  •  To assist the Site Supervisor with the overall security arrangements of the premises.
  • Working with others to ensure Health & Safety compliance within the site.
  • General repairs, maintenance and improvement/renovations.
  • Fire alarm and water testing.
  • Liaising with contractors and other agencies.
  • Assisting with the receipt, distribution, collection and dispatch of goods.

 

The successful candidate will have:

  • Establish positive relationships.
  • Demonstrate professionalism at all times.
  • Communicate effectively and work as part of a team.
  • Show that you are able to work on your own initiative within school policies and
    procedures.
  • Demonstrate on-going commitment to our Catholic school’s vision, ethos and mission
    statement and vision.
