Early Years and Childcare Improvement Team Lead (EYCIT)

The Early Years and Childcare Improvement Team (EYCIT) are looking to appoint a passionate individual with experience of developing practice within the Early Years. The successful candidate will support the EYCIT Manager in leading and managing a team at the forefront of providing high quality support, advice, challenge and training to Early Years settings and schools to enable children in the London Borough of Redbridge reach their full potential.
An EYCIT Lead supports their team to deliver an effective service to registered providers, managers, teachers and practitioners working in all types of early years provision, including Private, Voluntary and Independent settings, out-of-school provision and childminders. In addition to working with their team to provide support to settings, the EYCIT Lead will take a lead on the support and training being provided to schools.
The EYCIT Team are continuously adapting their service to ensure it meets the needs and interests of our settings, schools and the children within the borough. We are looking for an EYCIT Lead who can lead on projects based on local and national initiatives and priorities and develop these into our service offer.
