The Post
The new Strategic Data and Insight team are at the centre of the council's transformation team, working across the organisation to advance Brent's data ambitions and effectively deliver the council's corporate performance and insight functions.
This post is an incredible opportunity for a GIS specialist to lead geospatial data initiatives, develop and improve staff capability, and develop Brent's GIS capabilities through working with all council departments, maximising their opportunities for using location data and supporting the delivery of services.
The Person
We are seeking a dynamic innovative individual. You will have significant experience and up to date knowledge of best practice and innovation areas within GIS, data warehousing, data visualisation and analytics, and a proven ability to build constructive and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders including senior managers.
You will be an effective leader with excellent project management skills and the ability to support and deliver corporate and business strategy through best use of data. You will have an innovative and collaborative approach and be skilled at identifying and delivering solutions to improve service delivery.
