We have a fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher who has experience of working with Primary aged children with specific SEND that have required an adapted curriculum to meet their individual needs. We would like to hear from you if you are a candidate that is passionate about supporting the development of social, life and independence skills and who truly wants to make a difference in the lives of pupils and enable them to meet their individual targets. We are seeking a candidate with a real passion for SEND and would like to be a SENCO within the 18 months. We will provide the internal coaching and external professional development to obtain the National Professional Qualification (NPQ) which will become the mandatory qualification for SENCOs from September 2024.

- An outstanding qualified teacher with experience of teaching primary aged pupils with a wide range of Special Educational Needs in mainstream classrooms and or a specialist provision
- A teacher with outstanding abilities to overcome the biggest barriers to learning
- A candidate who can plan and deliver outstanding and effective teaching to enable high-quality learning experiences for all pupils
- An individual who demonstrates compassion, understanding and flexibility in their approach, ensuring progression is central to all lessons
- Someone who can support colleagues to develop their own practice
- Excellent organisational skills and someone who is able to prioritise workload
- A strong work ethic and the ability to work collaboratively with pupils, colleagues, parents and governors
- A practitioner who the ability to create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment where all pupils make good and better progress
- A teacher who has a commitment to their own professional development
