The role
In this role you will lead the development of our local work experience initiatives, collaborating with Council managers and employers to create opportunities for residents to gain essential employability skills. You'll design placement procedures, foster relationships with providers, and work closely with the Good Work Camden team to ensure candidate progression. This role involves close collaboration with various Council departments, local employers, and suppliers, with a focus on social value obligations related to work experience. About you
We're looking for a candidate who excels in building relationships with employers to create opportunities for local residents. You should demonstrate experience in delivering training, advice, and guidance, particularly with people facing disadvantages. Additionally, you should have a proven track record in supporting recruitment processes and assisting residents in accessing training or employment. Your ability to develop procedures that cater to the needs of both parties, along with effective monitoring and reporting skills, is essential. Knowledge of stakeholders supporting disadvantaged individuals and the ability to manage a busy workload are key. If you're motivated and can work well with others, apply now.
