At the London Borough of Havering’s void and repairs team, we pride ourselves on being an innovative organisation with a commitment to the needs of residents living in the borough, with a firm focus on repairs and maintenance of LBH housing stock and PSH managed dwellings on a daily basis and achieving positive outcomes whilst looking at service improvements to enhance resident satisfaction.
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Admin support officer to join our high achieving repairs and Voids team who continually exceed their targets in a highly pressurised environment
Main Purpose of the Job/Key Objectives:
· To provide effective and responsive administrative support for allocated operational activity in a robust, timely, efficient and cost effective manner.
· The role will involve the following on a regular basis:
o Face to face and telephone contact with the public
o Facilitating meetings as required
o Assisting with monitoring team plans
o Assisting the team leader with monitoring to ensure compliance with team targets and standards
o Updating records, costs and details into databases
o Liaising with officers, contractors and suppliers as required
