The Governors of Kelmscott School are seeking to appoint a well-qualified and highly enthusiastic PE teacher/Instructor to join our thriving and successful Physical Education department. The successful candidate will be a dynamic, inspirational and creative individual who is able motivate students as well as being an outstanding team player. This role may suit early careers teachers or applicants who aspire to become a fully-fledged PE teacher in the future, something we would be happy to support the successful candidate with from September 2025. The successful candidate is likely to be a well-qualified sports coach in one or more sports already; an interest in netball, gymnastics and dance would be desirable.
The main responsibilities of the role are outlined as follows:
- Teaching PE independently
- Team teaching PE
- Lesson planning
- Supporting the department with the delivery of the PE curriculum
- Leading co-curricular clubs
