The Post

We are looking to appoint an Environmental Health Officer/Enforcement Officer to join our Environmental Health Team covering complaints of pests, stopped up drains, filthy and verminous/hoarded properties, waste accumulations and public health matters.

You will be working in our new Civic Centre which combines a number of services including the Library, the Drum and numerous food outlets. The Civic Centre is located a stone’s throw from Wembley Stadium, OVO Arena and the London Designer Outlet; and has great transport links.

The Person

We are looking for an Environmental Health Officer/Enforcement Officer to join our Environmental Health Team covering complaints of pests, stopped up drains, filthy and verminous/hoarded properties, waste accumulations and public health; and have thorough knowledge of Environmental Health procedures and practices and hold a current Driving Licence.

The work will be 36h/week with flexible and remote working when dealing with proactive and reactive issues; and you will be responsible for managing a caseload of work within the above disciplines.

You will have the opportunity to develop professionally and gain experience in a wide range of duties. Training will also be provided where necessary to ensure you maintain your competency and help you develop your professional role and move forward with your career.
