Edmund Waller School Cleaner
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, efficient and reliable cleaner to join our busy school cleaning staff.
You will be part of a team responsible for cleaning the school and providing an environment that encourages effective working and learning. This will involve general cleaning, including sweeping, vacuuming, polishing and dusting throughout the school (in classrooms, main entrance, toilets, washrooms and corridors, etc.).
You will have previous experience of cleaning, ideally in schools, including toilets, together with an awareness of health and safety principles in an education setting. We are looking for people with a flexible and proactive approach to work and you should enjoy working within a team.
The closing date for applications is 08 December 2023 at 5pm. Interviews will be held as soon as possible after this date.

The working hours are Monday to Friday, 3.30pm to 6pm, (39 weeks a year).
The position is on Scale 1 (point 2) £27,306 per year, pro rata (approximately £700 per month gross).
