Croydon is a dynamic and popular borough, with significant develop plans and good transport links, which is an area of high housing demand. We have a high percentage of privately rented properties, many of which are not adequately maintained.

We are determined to improve the private rented sector in Croydon, to reduce anti-social behaviour, improve property management and improve housing conditions. As Croydon has over 40,000 privately rented properties, with a high number containing a significant hazards, we need a team of enthusiastic and self-motivated officers to help deliver our highly ambitious aims.

We now have vacancies for housing enforcement officers to work alongside colleagues in the Private Sector Housing team.
