The London Borough of Bromley is a place of sporting excellence. We are the home borough of world-renowned athletes including Dina Asher-Smith and Emma Raducanu, this is in part due to the borough’s sport and leisure facilities, and the commitment and professionalism of our homegrown clubs and associations.
We are looking for a service manager with knowledge of leisure and sports activity and project management experience to oversee the management of this area of work, including the lease with Mytime Active, and our partnership with Proactive Bromley. You will work in partnership with other council departments, national bodies, and other public agencies to maximise the development of a wide range of sport and leisure opportunities for all.
The successful candidate will bring a drive and enthusiasm to the role to maximise opportunities for grant applications in relation to sport and leisure. A pragmatic and proactive approach is required to support the Council in developing and adopting its first ever leisure strategy.
