We are looking for a motivated and professional individual with a passion for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI). Reporting to our Director of Inclusion and Wellbeing, you will ensure that we are fulfilling our organisational purpose and values, at the leading edge of best practice in EDI, continually performing as role models in higher education and the wider sector. This post is intended to facilitate change and build EDI capability and maturity across the University, in partnership with (rather than on behalf of) staff.
Our ideal candidate will have experience of working on large-scale organisational development programmes, cultural change programmes and behavioural change. You will have experience in leading equality, diversity and inclusion practice, and in working with numerous stakeholders and projects with conflicting priorities. You will also have experience in leadership of EDI HR/People practice and EDI learning and development, and of embedding practice within training, policy, systems and processes. You will have a vision and practical implementation skills, and the ability to connect with people from a multitude of backgrounds, building trust and encouraging collaboration.
