Senior Property Licensing Administration Officer
Would you like to play a crucial role in the largest privately rented property licensing scheme in West London?
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Licensing Processing Officer to join an established and supportive team responsible for processing up to 40,000 property licence applications.
This senior role ensures that the property licensing service runs effectively and efficiently and meets statutory requirements. This will require you to liaise with landlords giving accurate information about the schemes and what they need to do to obtain a licence.
In this role you will be responsible for motivating and managing processing officers, ensuring they have the training to carry out their duties effectively and that they are able to accurately process the required number of licenses.
Experience necessary for this role includes:
- Experience of working in a regulatory service
- High level of attention to detail and able to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience of managing people.
- Experience of working in a customer focused service.
- Experience of meeting performance targets.
- Experience of delivering competent and professional communication via written and oral presentations both within and external to the organisation.
Experience of using IT and web based applications. Minimum: GCSE Maths and English grade C or above or equivalent and/or relevant work experience.
This role is deemed customer facing and as such you must have a command of spoken English which is sufficient to enable you to effectively perform the role. This requirement relates to Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of property licensing and will preferably have used IDOX Uniform and Metastreet databases.
