Front of House Assistant Sessionals

Sessional Assistants are a vital part of the Resident Engagement and Participation service providing ad hoc cover for our 2 Town Halls.

Town Hall Front of House Assistants (Sessional) will be required to facilitate private hall hires, providing support on the day and assisting the Front of House Officer in managing the operation and smooth running of all bookings. On occasions Front of House Assistants may also be required for reception duties and outreach activities.

The candidate will have excellent customer care skills and be genuinely passionate about providing impactful support and facilitation of events. They should have customer service, hospitality and event management experience, a good level of literacy, numeracy and IT skills and enjoy working with the public.

The post requires a high degree of flexibility to cover sessions at short notice including evenings and weekends with the potential for some lone working. In turn, it is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking for a varied and interesting role but does not want to commit to a regular pattern of working hours.  Front of House Officers can choose to accept or decline shifts on offer with no minimum number of hours expected per week (although there is a maximum of 48 hours per week).
