INTRODUCTION
Are you an experienced HR Advisor, a confident communicator, and a good team player? Do you want to join our Schools' HR Team, working with a group of schools across the borough to provide a professional HR Advisory service, dealing with a range of employment legislation and HR policies and processes? If so, we would like to hear from you.
What’s the role ?
Providing a high-quality HR Advisory service to Headteachers, Senior Leaders, Governing Bodies and School Business Managers. Working closely with these customers on a range of HR/employee relations topics. Attending meetings at schools and virtually to support and advise in complex cases - for example Disciplinary, Performance, TUPE. Lead on some assigned projects, working closely with colleagues and schools to meet specific requirements and deadlines.

What we’re looking for
We are looking for an experienced HR Advisor (schools experience would be desirable but not essential) with a sound knowledge of employment legislation and policies, to work with Senior Leaders in schools across the borough, providing guidance and support on a range of complex matters. You will be able to understand legislation and policies and be confident in advising customers of practical application in the workplace.
Location
The job is primarily based in Laurence House, Catford, London, but we operate a hybrid approach where you will be required to work both in the office, at schools and from home on a regular basis.
Special conditions
- CIPD or relevant HR Advisory experience

Salary
£43,701 - £45,711 per annum (PO3)
N.B: All appointments will be offered at the minimum spinal column point (SCP) for the grade of the role. The only exception to this will be when matching current salary (up to the maximum of the scale), which is subject to evidential proof.
