An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the SEND Travel Assistance Team as a SEND Travel Assistance Manager. This newly formed role is designed to. manage and lead the SEND Travel Assistance Service, providing high-quality transport provision to vulnerable passengers on behalf of the London Borough of Redbridge.
The service must be delivered to a high standard in accordance with the council’s Home to School Transport Policy, Service Key Performance Indicators and Best Value practice and has a budget of £5.6
The service has x1 SEN Systems & Resources Officer, (PTE) x1 SEND Transport Operations Officer (FTE), x1 SEND Independent Travel Training Officer (PTE), x8 Independent Travel Trainers x1 SEND Passenger Assistant and Contracts Monitoring Officer (FTE) and x 50 Passenger Assistants.
You will be required to attend Induction training and undertake an enhanced DBS as part of your Induction to the service. Please see Job Description & Person Specification for further details.
