Hours: 24 hours per week Monday to Friday, term time only
Grade: Scale 3 Points 5-6 / Scale 4 Points 7-10 (subject to experience)
Salary: £24,804 - £26,913 p.a FTE. Actual Salary will be pro rata

Hornchurch Academy Trust is a group of six schools based in Rainham, Upminster and Northfleet within the London Borough of Havering and Kent.
Whybridge Junior School is seeking to appoint a Admin officer to join our vibrant school office team. The position is a permanent role, initially 24 hours, but could be extended if beneficial to the school and candidate.
We are looking for a highly committed, enthusiastic and experienced person, who has experience working within a school office and is interested in joining our dedicated team to help make a positive impact on children’s lives.

Responsibilities:
- Perform clerical duties such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing correspondence.
- Maintain office supplies and equipment, ensuring they are well-stocked and in working order.
- Organise and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for staff members.
- Assist with data entry tasks, including updating the school website.
- Managing written communication between school and stakeholders.
- Administer First Aid and medication to pupils.
- Prepare and distribute memos, letters, and other documents as needed.
- Coordinate office events and celebrations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an office administrator or in a similar role.
- Proficient in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in performing administrative tasks.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
