Do you have a genuine desire to provide our residents with a great service? If so, this could be the role for you. We have an excellent opportunity for an outstanding candidate with a passion for supported housing to join our Neighbourhood Services Team.
Reporting to the Neighbourhood Services Team Leader and working alongside another Supported Housing Officer you will provide a comprehensive housing service to a range of vulnerable tenants including those with learning disabilities, mental health issues and young people. This is a varied role where you can make a real difference to the lives of our vulnerable residents. We are flexible on working hours and will consider applications from 14 up to 21 hours per week (ideally to be worked Weds-Fri but can consider other weekday working patterns).
The ideal candidate will have
- Experience of tenancy management and working with vulnerable people
- Good IT and Numeracy Skills
- Knowledge of the legal framework and good practice in housing management
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- A positive “can do” attitude and a commitment to a high standard of service delivery
- An awareness of current housing, welfare and neighbourhood management issues
- Full driving licence and access to own transport (car/motorcycle) for work use
