About the Job

The role includes teaching a variety of non-accredited courses from Beginners to Advanced level, including conversation and grammar classes.

You will prepare and deliver teaching and learning that meets the individual needs of the learners and help them develop their skills, knowledge, and understanding. You will assess and provide meaningful and developmental feedback to learners as required. You will deliver Pre Course Interviews to ensure learners are enrolled in the right class at the right level. You will ensure assessment records are kept up-to-date and targets are met. You must have the ability to take initiative and the ability to research, produce, and use teaching resources to maintain high standards of learning in different environments including the use of e-learning, the last of which is essential. It is also essential that you have a desire to develop and use new methods of teaching and learning to engage and motivate your learners.

Successful candidates will have an understanding of Equality and Diversity, and an appreciation of the requirements of teachers under the Safeguarding of Children & Vulnerable Adults regulations.

Successful applicants will be responsible for their own travel to and from the delivery centres. 

About You

  • Level 4 minimum Teaching qualification or willing to work towards
  • SPANISH teacher (preferable)
  • GCSE A*-C English and Mathematics qualifications (or equivalent)
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing workload
  • Secure knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
