About the role
Reporting to a Commissioning Manager, you will support the commissioning service for Adult Social Care, working in collaboration with other services, partners and service users, to shape services that make a real difference to people in Brighton & Hove.
Key functions of the role include:
- ensuring that services are person centred, outcomes focused, inclusive, accessible, offer value for money, and promote a sustainable and diverse market
- collating and analysing qualitative and quantitative data to inform commissioning decisions
- working collaboratively with stakeholders
- monitoring and supporting providers to meet the conditions of the contract and improve quality and performance
This role will have an interesting portfolio, supporting a breadth of areas, including commissioning services for people with mental health needs, direct payments users and carers.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.
